Hiking
Hiking trails of Couesnon Marches de Bretagne borrow 300 km of marked trails. Walkers or confirmed hikers, 35 marked hiking tours from 5 to 23 km are available.
The territory is crossed by GR trails : GR 37, GR 39 et two of the paths of Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle.
Find, here and freely, all of our hiking documents. They are also available in printed versions in our Tourism Offices at Bazouges-la-Pérouse and Maen-Roch. Each printed hiking document costs 0.20 €.
On this hiking loop, which crosses the "Petite Cité de Caractère" (Character Village), you will have the opportunity to cross the Bellevue park where you''ll enjoy a panorama towards the villages of Saint-Rémy-du-Plain and Marcillé-Raoul. You will also see the Martigné portal, which today gives its name to this hike. In order to return to the historic center of Bazouges you shall access it via rue du Châtelet where the birthplace of Angèle Vannier (french poetress) is located.
Home to many beliefs and legends, Marcillé-Raoul invites you to walk in the footsteps of the pilgrims of the past to discover several sites, places of devotion and popular superstitions, the most remarkable of which is the Chapel of the Trinity.
Here, many streams design hilly and green landscapes and draw the natural borders of Noyal-sous-Bazouges. This richness would have given its name to the village from the gallic Noy and Al meaning "near of the river".
